PAW 2026: The Legal, Procedural and Practical Challenges of Crypto Disputes
Did you ever wonder how to address the challenges of arbitration involving crypto-assets?
I spoke at the PAW 2026 event on arbitration of crypto disputes and I examined some of he main legal, practical and procedural challenges.
Where to find the arbitration agreement?
What is consent to arbitration in the context of ticking a box to accept the terms of use?
Who is the responding party?
Who is to be held liable?
How to manage quantum?
Amount in dispute, claims, award, enforcement: cryptos or fiat?
Shall you consider institutional ICC arbitration with a seat in Paris?
Why is international arbitration the best fit for the resolution of crypto disputes?
These issues and many more were discussed during the ICC France – RAID Square working group event on the topic “How to address the challenges of arbitration involving crypto-assets?” hosted by d&a partners.
